Review: Rambo
Violence Level: Makes “300″ look like “Finding Nemo”. It makes the opening scene to “Saving Private Ryan” look like “Driving Miss Daisy”.
One reviewer hit it home: “What makes this movie scary is that this is about a war that is going on right now. This movie displays the atrocities going on right now.”
That’s what I heard. That is was very intense, graphic in violence.
Would you see it again?
No. It is so intense that once in your lifetime is more than enough. That is like Schlinder’s List. Incredible movie but the images keep with you.
Dood, Rambo was so intense, I barely slept that night. Well, some Mongolian stir-fry was my only saving grace.
The torch can now be past…Rocky IV can go on into Movie Heaven. This final Rambo was a fitting end to the series. Gotta love Sly’s storytelling abilities.
Now I must muster the courage to go see Rocky Balboa. I shudder to think about the atrocity that was Rocky V…
