I feel about Prosperity gospel in the same way John Piper does. When I talk about it, I start cussing. When John speaks about it, he does it with a whole lot less cussing.

This is not a popular road to take, but then the followers of Christ have never been any more concerned about popularity than the Master Himself.

I don’t know who I’m more angry with: the ones preaching it or the ones with itching ears who are so eager to accept what so easily appeals to the lust for material things.

I love Piper. But it’s not ok to cuss, even if you’re passionate against an evil. Yes I hate the prosperity gospel too. And it is right that we speak out against it, it makes people’s souls sick.
