I feel about Prosperity gospel in the same way John Piper does. When I talk about it, I start cussing. When John speaks about it, he does it with a whole lot less cussing.

This is not a popular road to take, but then the followers of Christ have never been any more concerned about popularity than the Master Himself.
Thank you so much for this video. Thank you for this breath of fresh air. I just about have a fit every time I hear this phoney-baloney gospel preached. I don’t know who I’m more angry with: the ones preaching it or the ones with itching ears who are so eager to accept what so easily appeals to the lust for material things.

I love Piper. But it’s not ok to cuss, even if you’re passionate against an evil. Yes I hate the prosperity gospel too. And it is right that we speak out against it, it makes people’s souls sick.
