Our God Is Mighty To Save, Part 1
Anybody who has read my testimony knows that this will hit really closer to home:
I am very familiar with her name and her career.
What is wonderful is that I see her picture now and she looks nothing like she did. She has beauty that could only come from Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.
As my spirit cries out in joy, what else can I do but praise His holy name.
Who is like our God and who dares to even compare to Him.
And He reached down and pulled her from the pit!
He reaches down for everyone. The difference is here….she reached back. She held on. HE scooped her right out!

There is not a more beautiful picture of her on the web. Any fan of porn has to admit that. All glory to God as He continues to do amazing things before our very eyes.
Let’s pray that God uses her (and the other men and women He’s pulling out of the adult industry) in a mighty way - to open eyes to the emptiness of that lifestyle (for producers, stars, and consumers).

Erica’s statement was profound. Sin isn’t ugly, it’s beautiful. I was attracted to it - and walked into its snare. I can relate to your testimony because ‘porn addict’ defined me for quite a while. And as I continue to deal with the reaping of many years of sowing sin - it’s only by God’s grace and power that I’m here today. He’s healing me daily.
Reading of Erica’s salvation effected me deeply. It brought back memories of me seeing a beautiful girl on adult sites, wondering who she REALLY was, but leaving it at that. God pursued her in His love while I merely observed her from a distance out of lust. While I thought that would be her lot in life, God cares deeply and intervenes. Surely God can’t take one of the porn industries most popular girls and save her and turn her into someone who wants to help those struggling with porn and a lifestyle that almost destroyed her? Yes - He saved her against all human odds - and Yes she wants to serve God. That is so awesome I can hardly find the words. God is indeed mighty to save.
This is weird, but I was giving into the temptation of porn again when I came across news of Erica Campbell’s conversion. She was one of my favorites, partly because she seemed so wholesome. And now she’s not just a porn star, she’s a sister in Christ. How great, and also simultaneously convicting that I shouldn’t be looking up her old pictures anymore.
I know what you mean.
Nowadays, I can’t even finish the thought of temptation. It is almost as if it doesn’t even make sense.
